FAQs

How much do your plans cost?

Bookkeeping starts at $500/month, Bookkeeping + at $1,500/month, and Advisory at $3,000/month. Books Cleanup is a separate one-time service starting at $750. We agree on the exact scope and price after reviewing your books.

What is included in Bookkeeping?

Monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliation in QuickBooks Online, payroll recorded and reconciled in your books, a simple monthly financial report, and a private client dashboard with reviewed monthly summaries. Payroll processing is included in Bookkeeping + and Advisory, not the Bookkeeping tier.

What is the difference between the three tiers?

Bookkeeping keeps your books current each month, including payroll recording and reconciliation. Bookkeeping + adds accounts payable and receivable support and payroll processing through QuickBooks Payroll, with scope and volume agreed in writing. Advisory includes everything in Bookkeeping +, a monthly 30-minute numbers review call, and guidance on cash flow, profitability, and growth decisions.

Who handles payroll tax filings?

Intuit handles eligible payroll tax filings through QuickBooks Payroll once the required tax setup is complete. Coverage depends on your QuickBooks Payroll plan and setup. We run payroll through that service for Bookkeeping + and Advisory clients; we do not prepare business or personal income-tax returns.

Can you help if my books are behind?

Yes. Cleanup is quoted separately from monthly bookkeeping, based on the missing periods and the condition of your records. We agree on the work and a clear quote before we begin.

Who will work on my account?

I oversee the work and remain your point of contact. As we grow, I may bring in carefully managed outside support.

How will I receive my updates?

Each client has a private dashboard for shared updates and reports, plus a reviewed monthly summary that can be downloaded.

Do you prepare income-tax returns?

No. We're a bookkeeping and advisory firm, not a CPA firm. We provide financial records your tax preparer can use, but we don't prepare income-tax returns, perform audits, or provide tax or legal advice. Eligible payroll tax filings are handled by Intuit through QuickBooks Payroll.
